DAP Weldwood Original Contact Cement is a professional-grade, neoprene-based contact adhesive designed to create strong, permanent bonds on compatible materials including high-pressure laminates, wood and plastic veneers, paneling, leather, fabric, and rubber. Ideal for countertops, cabinets, tabletops, woodworking, and general repairs, its fast-drying formula is typically ready for bonding in 15–20 minutes. Once properly prepared surfaces are pressed together, the adhesive delivers high initial grab without clamps or temporary fasteners. The cured bond provides heat and water resistance for interior and exterior applications. This flammable, solvent-based adhesive must be used with adequate ventilation, away from sparks, flames, and other ignition sources.
